Four 5th grade students from the Pharr Elementary Robotics Team, competed at the State Competition on Saturday, April 9 in San Angelo, Texas and placed 2nd against 52 schools from around the state.
The 5th graders programmed a robot to perform different tasks as part of the competition.

"Competing at the robotics state competition was a great experience for me and for the students," Castro said. "I knew our dedication would pay off."
