City Manager Fred Sandoval and Public City of Pharr officials wish to welcome Costco one of the largest retailers in the United States to the ranks of the Great City of Pharr.
Costco opened its doors on March 15th welcoming thousands of shoppers bringing the value by volume offer to all the citizens of Pharr and the adjacent cities, being the first Costco to open in the Valley of the Rio Grande.
Aside from world class shopping and competition in the retail corridor of Pharr, Costco is creating jobs. Currently employing over 180 citizens of the Valley expanding the benefits that the company is bringing to the city of Pharr – Manager Frank Mendez comments. The store’s figures projected at 139 million dollars per year which will also boosts Pharr’s revenues all around.
